Girish And The Chronicles (GATC) Hailing from Gangtok, Sikkim, and now based in Bengaluru, Girish And The Chronicles (GATC) is one of India’s top rock bands, formed in 2009 by frontman Girish Pradhan. Known for their powerful vocals, tight riffs, and energetic stage presence, the band includes Girish Pradhan (vocals), Yogesh Pradhan (bass), Suraz Sun (lead guitar), and Nagen Mongrati (drums). Over the years, GATC has shared the stage with global rock giants like Hoobastank, Poets of the Fall, Destruction, Tesseract, and even backed legendary drummer Chris Adler on his India tour. Internationally, they’ve played alongside bands like Nazareth, Skid Row, Kamelot, and Mike Tramp at major rock festivals across Europe. In July 2023, they were special guests at Guns N’ Roses’ show at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi – a massive moment that earned them headlines in The Times of India and Rolling Stone India. That same month, they rocked the Summerside Festival in Switzerland, opening for Bullet for My Valentine, Billy Talent, and Alter Bridge. GATC continues to carry India’s rock flag high on the global stage, delivering electrifying performances wherever they go.
