The Teej Festival, celebrated in the Hindu month of Shravan, marks the arrival of the monsoon and honors Goddess Parvati. Women of all ages dress in colorful traditional attire, apply henna, sing love songs, and enjoy swings adorned with flowers. A vibrant royal procession featuring horses, camels, folk dancers, and decorated palanquins starts from the City Palace and moves through Tripolia Bazar and Chhoti Chaupar.
