In their brand-new stand-up show, ALOK dives headfirst into a series of hilariously awkward encounters — from being mistaken for a world-famous Brazilian DJ to disastrous makeup tutorials and even a questionable waxing appointment. An internationally acclaimed poet, comedian, actor, and public speaker, ALOK has performed in over 40 countries, earning global recognition with sold-out shows at Just For Laughs, Edinburgh Fringe, and Netflix is a Joke Fest. Their first comedy special, “BIOLOGY!”, was executive produced by Christopher Guest, while their documentary short “ALOK” — executive produced by Jodie Foster — premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
