The Swing Nomads are essentially a jazz trio paying a humble tribute to particularly the Gypsy Jazz(also known as Manouche Jazz) sound and music of the 1940s, popularized by it’s most important proponent, Django Reinhardt. The band incorporates Gypsy standards in their setlist, also paying a tribute to well-known jazz tunes played in the style of Manouche.
A typical night involving The Swing Nomads would have you swaying to the ballads and dancing on the floor ’til the last note rings out of the guitar. Safe to say, the band plays their hearts out each night and shares their journey through well-knit pieces of music with all the passion they have to offer.
