Guru Smaran 2026 marks the 10th edition of the annual musical tribute presented by the Pt. Haridas Shenoy Sangeet Seva Trust, celebrating the timeless Guru–Shishya Parampara and the rich heritage of Hindustani classical music. Held on 28 November 2026 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru, this special edition embraces the theme “Different Streams. One Tradition.”, bringing together distinguished artists while inspiring younger generations to appreciate India’s musical legacy.
The programme features Shri Krushna Salunke and his six-member ensemble presenting the majestic Pakhawaj tradition, followed by a vocal recital by Pt. Vinayak Torvi, accompanied by Pt. Ravindra Yavagal on tabla and Pt. Vyasamurthy Katti on harmonium. More than a musical tribute, Guru Smaran 2026 is an evening dedicated to artistic excellence, the wisdom of gurus, and the generations preserving India’s classical music traditions.
