Actors Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter have been named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list for 2025, under the entertainment and sports category. This list celebrates 30 young and talented people from the Asia-Pacific region.
Ananya Panday, 26, started her acting career in 2019 with the film Student of the Year 2. Since then, she has acted in 11 films, including her recent movie CTRL (2024). This year, she also became the first Indian brand ambassador for Chanel, a popular international fashion brand. Ananya has a strong presence on social media with over 25.9 million Instagram followers.
Even though Ananya received criticism in the beginning, she has improved over time and is now being praised for her recent work. Being named in the Forbes list is a big achievement for her. She is also one of only four Indians included in the entertainment category this year.
Ishaan Khatter , 29, is also on the Forbes list. He became well-known after acting in Beyond the Clouds (2017). He won several debut actor awards, including Filmfare and IIFA. He has acted in movies like Dhadak, Phone Bhoot, and Pippa, and appeared in series such as A Suitable Boy, The Perfect Couple (with Nicole Kidman), and The Royals. Ishaan is now growing as an actor both in Bollywood and Hollywood.
Ananya and Ishaan also acted together in the film Khaali Peeli (2020). Along with them, others like filmmaker Sulagna Chatterjee and singer Anuv Jain have also been featured in this year’s Forbes list.
