You are expected to do the following before you enter the audition room:
- Keep several copies of headshots and resumes ready with you.
- Get familiarized with the script and be comfortable with the lines. You might be asked to share your opinion about the script.
- Understand the character for which the audition is taking place.
- Do as much research about the role as possible.
- Wear the appropriate dress and be precise about the choice you make. Prepare for an acting audition by dressing as per the requirements specified in the casting call.
- Memorize the lines thoroughly.
- Release mental tension and calm your nerves. The minor stress can reflect in the audition and impact your performance.
